Ergotamine (cafergot) and thyroid hormones
Browning et al., June 1998 (cattle)
Effect of Ergotamine and Ergonovine on Plasma Concentrations of Thyroid
Hormones and Cortisol in Cattle. R. Browning, Jr., ML Leite ...
“Increased plasma concentrations of thyroid hormones due to ergot alkaloids may contribute to the occurrence of hyperthermia in cattle consuming endophyte-infected tall fescue. Elevated plasma cortisol concentrations after ergotamine treatment may reflect the stressful nature of fescue toxicosis”

For a long time.. maybe 15 years I lived off Cafergot..together with aspros and caffeine in tea
I had terrible migraines and this was the only relief I could find
Was it a shortage of T3 during te last 10 days or so of every month?
I realise (and Larrian told me it had something to do with vasopressin being out).. I must find the link here...
ADH, which just another name for vasopressin was undectable on 2 test so far, one spot and one after fasting drink and food for 12 hrs.(after cutting down and making my skin look dehydrated!!)
wish they'd ley me try some as they give it to kids who bedwet.. just in afternoon for most..as that is when it cycles low on daily cycle..and when I go low as I get real thirsty..
That lets them sleep thru the night without having to wake up to go to the toilet... that would be nice too!
I'm just not sure if ADH(vasopressin) acts like thyroid hormone etc with a feedback thingy.. I wouldn't like to make myself any worse!
If anyone comes across this knowledge..pls pls let me know!

lithium might fix it....at very low dose, and it won't show up in blood tests 'cause it's all in the cells...
